this is the second time i have tried contacts, i did not like them the first time and gave up on trying to get them in my eyes. i cant believe the difference this time around. completely amazed at the comfort level. i work as a dog groomer and am exposed to hair around the clock. the second day i wore my trial pair of contacts i went to work and did not have any irritation problems. needless to say, this is an awesome product :)Source: AC Lens

My dr originally fitted me with some other lenses which dried out and rotated like crazy within 3 hours or wear which really screwed up my vision. When I complained she gave me the Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism which she called the "Mercedes-Benz of contacts". I do not feel these contacts in my eyes like with the Cooper contacs and I have yet to have any blurry or dry eye issues with these lenses even after 17 hours of wear. I will say they tend to get itchy after about 14 hours, but 2 blink eyedrops in each eye fixes that and makes them feel fine until I take them out. My only issues with these lenses is they fold up like its their job and they can be difficult to handle (reason my dr does not give them to new contact wearers). Johnson & Johnson......I want colors!!!!! Don't make me switch to Ciba Vision Freshlooks.Source: AC Lens

I have worn contact lenses for about 20 years. Most toric lenses had become very dry within a few hours, and I would have to constantly re-wet them. Since I have worn these, they have stayed comfortable even after 12 hours of wear.Source: AC Lens

I am truly happy that I have found a contact lens brand that really works for me. I have been wearing Acuve Advantage for those with astigmatism since Dec. 14th. They are 100 % better than my previous brand. They insert very easily, don't dry out, and my eyes do not feel scratchy or get red throughout the day. I don't even use rewetting drops as often as I used to. Thank you Acuve for developing a five star product. I am now only worried about falling to sleep with them on because my eyes feel so bare. Thanks again. Now you just need to develop a toric brand that changed eyecolor too:)Source: AC Lens

  5. Extremely pleased Posted by Bert on May 10, 2008

I have fairly severe astigmatism and had tried contacts several times over the years. I had only fair vision, and a lot of trouble keeping them "on axis". Not only are these tremendously more comfortable, they also stay perfectly aligned and when they do "slip", all I have to do is blink. Extremely pleased.Source: AC Lens

This is my first time wearing contact lenses. I am legally blind, and I also have astigmatism, so my prescription limits many of my options when it comes to contact lenses. My eyes become dry very easy, but surprisingly, not once have I ever experienced any discomfort with these lenses. They also give me amazingly clear, crisp vision, just as Acuvue promises. My only complaint is that they don't come in colors, because I really had my heart set on colored lenses...but if you don't want colored contacts, these are definitely the best thing available for astigmatism!Source: AC Lens

I have tried different contacts before and gave up, went back to wearing glasses. Then I went back for my eye exam this yr. and my eye dr susgested the acuvue advance for astigmatism, I'm so happy she did they are so comfortable, you forget you're wearing them. The only down fall is that I wish they came in colors.Source: AC Lens

  8. I will be staying with this brand Posted by Simon England on May 10, 2008

I've worn contacts from most manufacturers and started on good old RGP's and have now switched to these. Have been allowed to wear then non stop and sleep in them. Very comfortable and less blur then normal. I will be staying with this brand. Strongly recommend to give your eyes the one day of rest if you are wearing 24/7. All-round a good buy.Source: AC Lens

This is my first time wearing contact lenses and surprisingly, I adjusted well and the comfort of this particular brand is unbelieveable. Would definately recommend to someone looking for comfort and ease of care.Source: AC Lens
